Sevastopol, May 1944. Gelatin silver print, printed 1990s. 26 x 40 cm (sheet 30,3 x 40,3 cm). Signed by the photographer and annotated in another hand in pencil on the verso.

In this more hopeful image of WWII, Chaldej captured a group of sunbathers resting among the war ruins of Sevastopol.
