This group of photographs captures main sites of colonial-era Hong Kong in the late 19th century, including Victoria Harbour, Queen’s Road Central, St. John’s Cathedral, the Zoological and Botanical Gardens, as well as the iconic stone steps of Pottinger Street with sedan chair and rickshaw bearers.
