Mit großer Holzschnitt-Druckermarke auf dem Titel. 25,5 x 17,5 cm. Pergament d. Z. (beschabt, bestoßen, etwas lichtrandig und stärker fleckig sowie ohne die zwei Verschlussbändchen) mit spanischen Kanten und dreiseitigem Grünschnitt. (Genf, Jean de Tournes), 1607.
Darlow-Moule 5598. – Erste Ausgabe von Giovanni Diodatis (1576-1649) höchst bedeutender erster protestantischer Bibel in italienischer Übersetzung. "The editio princeps of the version of Giovanni Diodati, which in its modern form remains the official Bible of Italian Protestants" (Darlow-Moule). – Titel mit einem größerem hinterlegtem Einriss und einem kleinerem Einriss sowie leicht gestaucht (kein Textverlust). Insgesamt innen mit kleinen Gebrauchspuren. Exlibris und kleiner Wurmfraß auf den Vorsätzen.
