Bildnis eines jungen Mannes in roter Uniform mit blauen Revers und goldgeränderter weißer Weste, schwarzer Halsbinde. Unten links mit Initialen signiert und datiert "H. N. / 1761". Aquarell und Gouache auf Elfenbein. 3,9 x 3,1 cm (oval). In vergoldetem Metallrahmen. Informationen zu diesem Künstler sind zu finden in Daphne Foskett: A Dictionary of British Miniature Painters, London 1972, I S. 418. Foskett beschreibt ihn wie folgt: "Painted miniatures on ivory and signed HN, sometimes followed by a date. The initials tend to sprawl, and are cursive." Provenienz: Bonhams, London, Auktion am 22.
